Guidelines for surface preparation and application to ensure optimal bonding performance.
Inspect the surface thoroughly. Ensure it is structurally sound, clean, and free from dust, oil, grease, paint, or any loose materials that may affect adhesion.
Ensure the substrate is suitably prepared, leveled, and cured according to standard construction practices before adhesive application.
Choose the adhesive strictly according to the tile type (ceramic, vitrified, etc.), the substrate characteristics, and specific application requirements.
Follow the applicable product instructions for mixing. Apply the adhesive using an appropriately notched trowel to ensure adequate coverage.
Place the tiles firmly into the adhesive bed according to proper installation practice, ensuring full contact between the tile back and the adhesive.
Complete the installation according to project requirements. Allow sufficient time for the adhesive to set before opening to traffic or grouting.
